On a stormy night, when ominous clouds filled the sky, a beautiful bolt of lightning struck the ocean. As the clouds faded away, the moonlight glistened again. And delivered to the shores, by a once raging sea, was a Daughter of the Moon.
Drawing upon ancient lore, where pearls are born of the Earth’s waters and the heaven’s powers, Metagirl traversed the depths of the Saucony archive to bring back the ProGrid Paramount like never before. Retaining original 2000s specifications, Metagirl’s debut Saucony ProGrid Paramount collaboration is infused with her hyper-feminine aesthetic.
The design is adorned with an unprecedented addition: a 3D-printed shell heel counter. Hand-sculpted by Metagirl, scanned, rendered, and printed in 3D – in collaboration with the Saucony Innovation Team – the finished product captures the mystifying moment when the chaos calms… and something precious begins to form.
Dressed with perforated aluminium silver leather shimmering like moonlight on water, soft organza ruffles along the eyestay represent the unpredictability of fresh life. Delicate pearl studs represent the understated strength of feminine power.
