ASICS SportStyle and URBAN RESEARCH partnered with Hiromichi Yumoto, a designer of the homeware brand SEE SEE, to create the new special makeup sneaker GEL-KAYANO™ 14.It debuted in 2008 as a high-performance running shoe and has supported many runners. Today, with the Y2K fashion trend, GEL-KAYANO™ 14 sneaker is once again in the spotlight in the fashion scene. This model incorporates a voluminous silhouette created by using appropriate materials for different parts of the shoe, reflecting the design aesthetics seen in the 2000s, while retaining the representative functions and structures of the GEL-KAYANO™ sneaker series, including the shock-absorbing GEL™ technology integrated into the midsole. Furthermore, the materials and fit of the shoe's upper have been updated for urban use.
