HOKA’s roots in trail running are a physical
dialogue with terrain, elements, and movement.
Born from Earth and Water.
This collaboration examines the essence of HOKA’s earliest innovations; when soles were carved by hand and tested on the trails above Annecy.
The terrain shaped the shoe as much as the hand.
This idea of touch, direct engagement with earth and water finds its mirror in the world of ceramics. Both practices require pressure, intuition, and a quiet mastery of material. One makes vessels, the other motion.
This project explores that shared lineage: a study in terrain and tactility, in tools shaped by topography and tradition.
Two distinct colour-ways articulate this story; tones of clay, terracotta, stone and mud echoing the transformation of raw matter into purposeful form.
